Extraordinary caricatures
I don’t know the names of the artists who did these, but they are amazing. My friend Mark sent this to me as a powerpoint file. I converted the images to jpg so I could post them here. Thanks to Mark and to the incredible artists who created these wonderful caricatures. Click on the image to see the full size version.

Transnational Blue Blood
I don’t know who this is, but this is brilliant stuff. I hope you like it, too.

Underground Art: ’50s Posters Discovered In London Tube Station
When workers for the London Underground opened up a long-abandoned elevator corridor at Notting Hill Gate tube station, they found more than rats and rot. Mounted on the walls was a gallery of 1950s-vintage advertising posters – somewhat the worse for wear, but with their crisp, pleasant midcentury aesthetic shining through the grime.

This is a poster advertising the still popular Ideal Home Exhibition, sponsored by the Daily Mail, that was held at Olympia in March of that year.
